I’m a big fan of pointing my camera upward. I do this because I love capturing the sky. I also love capturing unique, skyward pointing structures like this one. They remind me to point my imagination in the same direction: up.
In this moment my camera is angled to catch Giotto’s Campanile in Florence, Italy. My feet soon followed suit as I ascended 414 stairs to view Florence from above. My upward efforts were well-rewarded with this specific image and the many that I captured from the top.
